Lewiston Music promoter Steve Goodman's debut "Hot Pepper & Salsa Festival" has been pushed back a few weeks. The Village of Lewiston approved use of Academy Park on Aug. 16 and 17 for the event, but that was too early for the man who just hosted the Lewiston Music Festival on July 8 and 9.
Goodman said the new festival date would likely be in late September or early October. He'll partner with the Lewiston Village Pub on the event, which will be open to all food vendors.
The Hot Pepper & Salsa Festival will include live music and an eating contest. Proceeds will benefit the village and its acquisition of security cameras.
