'Big R': 'Halloween in July' plus Autograph Night & full card of racing

It is “Halloween in July” this coming Friday night at the Ransomville Speedway, as fans and drivers are encouraged to wear their best costumes.

Niagara Metals will present the racing program featuring the Krown Undercoating Modifieds, Hy-Tech Concrete Sportsman, KiPo Motors Street Stocks, Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stocks, and the Kevin’s Carpet Cleaning Novice Sportsman. 

“Halloween in July” will feature all kinds of activities, from costume parades to trick or treating, while getting your favorite drivers’ autographs. 

Pit gates on Friday will open at 5 p.m. Grandstands open at 6 p.m. Racing will get underway at 7:15 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, catch the action live on Dirt Track Digest TV. 

Ransomville Speedway is located on Braley Road in the hamlet of Ransomville. “The Big R” is a 3/8th-mile DIRTcar-sanctioned facility that is “Home of the Summer Nationals.” Ransomville also features a 1/16th-mile go-kart track for action on the “Little R” on Thursday nights.
