John Cooper Jr. has taken the helm as executive director of Niagara Gospel Mission, 1317 Portage Road, Niagara Falls. He replaces Tom McLaughlin, who retired at the end of 2023.

Mount St. Mary's Hospital (MSMH) announced its Center for Sports Medicine & Physical Rehabilitation, now located at 1 Columba Drive No. 5 in Niagara Falls, will be moving on Jan. 15. The new department will relocate to the campus of Mount St. Mary's Hospital, 5300 Military Road, Lewiston, with the services located at the hospital's north lobby entrance.

NYS Department of Labor reminds New Yorkers of decrease in farm worker overtime threshold

The New York State Department of Labor is reminding New Yorkers that the phased-in, gradual reduction in the overtime pay threshold for farmworkers began Jan. 1, with the threshold set at 56 hours per week. The process will continue with the overtime threshold limit reducing by four hours every other year until reaching 40 hours per week in 2032.
