Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced convicted murderer Atrel M. Hudson, age 29, was sentenced this morning to serve a term of 45 years to Life in State Prison by County Court Judge John Ottaviano.

Thomas of Buffalo pleaded guilty this morning before Erie County Court Judge Kenneth Case to one count of menacing a police officer or peace officer (class "D" violent felony). The defendant pleaded guilty to the highest sustainable charge in the indictment against him.

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Gilbert Cruz, age 35, of Niagara Falls, plead guilty this morning to the charge of murder in the second degree. Cruz admitted to murdering 57-year-old Timothy Weymer in Niagara Falls on Feb. 7, 2022.
