AAA's Your Driving Costs (YDC) has been a reliable data source for the expenses associated with owning and operating a brand-new vehicle for more than seven decades. Based on the latest figures, the average cost of owning and operating a new vehicle in 2023 has increased significantly, with an annual expense of $12,182 or a monthly cost of $1,015. This is a sharp increase from 2022 when the average yearly cost was only $10,728, or $894 monthly.

Niagara County: Seaman announces murder conviction

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Antonio Carr, age 30, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced this morning to a term of 45 years to life in State Prison. Carr was convicted in May of this year of murder in the second degree and multiple weapons charges in the slaying of 57-year-old Tracy Greene at the victim's barbershop in Niagara Falls on Oct. 2, 2021.

As a reminder, an updated COVID-19 vaccine tailored to guard against certain variants is expected to arrive in pharmacies and doctor's offices this fall.

You may recognize her from a photo on the back of the Josh's Jaqs cereal box that was taken with Josh Allen at Oishei Children's Hospital. Hannah and her younger brother, Jackson, and parents, Patti and Jason, have been so grateful for all the support they've received for Hannah that they decided they wanted to give back.
