ABC and Dick Clark Productions announced today they have extended their agreement for "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" for five years. The must-see New Year's Eve celebration will air on the network through Jan. 1, 2029.

Kathy Hochul on Friday signed legislation, her team said, to "make it easier for New Yorkers to understand proposed constitutional amendments and other questions put to voters on ballots in New York state. Under this legislation, proposed amendments and other ballot measures must be explained in plain and clear language that allows voters to understand the practical impact of adopting or rejecting the measure they are being asked to vote on."
