The Rotary Club of Kenmore, NY has teamed up with Cardiac Crusade, a 501(c)(3) charity, to register AED locations in Kenmore, Buffalo and surrounding areas. This initiative's mission is to save lives by providing 911 systems, and the general public, instant access to AED locations in case of sudden cardiac arrest.

Lancaster is home to "Stony Brook Legendary Lights," one of the most imaginative, must-see holiday lights celebrations in the country. Over the span of eight streets, more than 300 homes are creatively adorned with lights, giant inflatables, Christmas characters, messages of peace and moving images (figuratively and literally). It's a winter wonderland that can be walked, or driven through, each night from Thanksgiving through New Year's Day.

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced 30-year-old Marcus D. Edwards of Buffalo pleaded guilty this morning before State Supreme Court Justice Paul B. Wojtaszek to eight counts of aggravated vehicular homicide (class "B" felony). The defendant pleaded guilty to all counts in the indictment against him.

Stella Niagara Education Park, a coeducational elementary school in Lewiston, donated over 200 books valued at $1,933 to Damar Hamlin's Chasing M's Foundation. The school raised the money to purchase the books through a coin drive for Scholastic's "All for Books" program during the annual book fair.
