Goo Goo Dolls live EP 'Warner Sound Sessions' out now

The Goo Goo Dolls have released a live EP, "Warner Sound Sessions­," available digitally via Warner Bros Records. Recorded last April for The Warner Sound series "The Live Room" at East West Studios in Los Angeles, the EP features four tracks from the band's highly acclaimed new album "Magnetic," as well as the classic hit "Slide."
Buffalo Sabres to retire Dominik Hasek's jersey next season

The Buffalo Sabres will officially retire the jersey of goaltender Dominik Hasek, one of the most prolific goaltenders in NHL history, in a ceremony during the 2014-15 season. Hasek, who was the fifth and final Sabres player to wear No. 39, will be the seventh player in franchise history to receive the honor of having his jersey retired to the rafters.

Artpark & Company is set to welcome Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band to the "First Niagara presents Tuesday in the Park" concert series June 24 in the Outdoor Amphitheater. The All Starr Band will feature Toto's Steve Lukather, Mr. Mister's Richard Page, original Santana singer Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren and drummer Gregg Bissonette. Tickets go on sale Friday.

Dominik Hasek named to Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame

The Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame selection committee today announced the induction of Dominik Hasek into the Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame. Hasek, one of the most prolific goaltenders in NHL history, will be officially inducted as the 42nd member of the Sabres Hall of Fame in a ceremony on March 29, prior to the team's home game against the Tampa Bay Lightning at First Niagara Center.

Hasek, who was originally acquired by the Sabres from the Chicago Blackhawks on Aug. 7, 1992, remains one of the most decorated goaltenders in team and league history.
