As they grow closer, he learns she not only has a reoccurrence, but also refuses to get treatment. In fact, Maggie is so determined to spare her loved ones, she lives in an apartment with most of her belongings already boxed up.

Thanks to NBC's hit summer series "Songland," the public has a newfound interest in what goes into making a hit song. Though the show's headliners - including John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini and will.i.am - are often thought of when hearing (or singing) a final product, many tunes take a team to be top of the pops. One of the music industry's more sought-after masterminds will perform at Artpark as part of "Tuesdays in the Park" on July 9. Kevin Griffin will showcase his own hit songs, including "Good," "King of New Orleans" and "Desperately Wanting," when Better Than Ezra takes the amphitheater stage.

Tracy Spiridakos seemed like a great pickup and a worthy addition to the "Chicago P.D." team when it was announced she would join the hit NBC series in the 2017-18 season. But her casting also came with some questions - namely, would her character, Hailey Upton, serve as a replacement for the departing Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush)? If so, would she become a love interest for Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer)?

"Timeless" fans came out in force with their #SaveTimeless campaign to show NBC how much they valued the sci-fi action-adventure show, and the Peacock Network took notice. In July, a two-hour series finale was booked for the holiday season. It will air Thursday, Dec. 20.

The "SiriusXM Presents: Goo Goo Dolls - Dizzy Up The Girl 20th Anniversary Tour" visits Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo for 8 p.m. shows on Oct. 19-21. Per the band's marketing agent, BB Gun Press, each night will see the Goo Goo Dolls perform the full record, then stage an additional set "packed with surprises and more of their hits."

Actor Seann William Scott has joined "Lethal Weapon." He will play Wesley Cole, an ex-CIA operative and new partner to LAPD Det. Roger Mayfield Murtaugh (Damon Wayans). With the addition of Scott/Cole came a significant added bonus: Maggie Lawson would recur as his ex-girlfriend and the mother of their 12-year-old daughter.
