His obstructive sleep apnea was so pronounced that he was regularly falling asleep in class, his grades were dropping, and he couldn't follow the drills on his Sweet Home High School lacrosse team because his short-term memory was so compromised.

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has been awarded $28.4 million through New York's Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program IV. The funding is part of nearly $300 million in state investments announced last week by Gov. Kathy Hochul to support 55 medical facilities across New York in improving infrastructure and enhancing patient care.
