The First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, located at 505 Cayuga St., has recently established a free food pantry at the main entrance to the church. The "Blessing Box" is available 24/7, offering nonperishable food items and canned or small bagged food for pets.

Niagara University celebrated its students - and honored distinguished individuals who embody Niagara's mission within their communities - during the 2025 President's Dinner on Nov. 5 at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. Proceeds from the President's Dinner benefit Niagara University's scholarship programs. This year's event raised $240,000 toward student scholarship assistance.
