America's War for Independence comes alive on July 27 and 28, as Old Fort Niagara hosts the Grand National Encampment of the American Revolution. Eight hundred reenactors will gather at the fort to stage four battle reenactments, artillery duels, 18th century clothing programs, a period hospital and much more.

Local elected leaders joined the Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce in welcoming WellNow Urgent Care to Lewiston on Tuesday. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the site, 860 Center St. Doors opened to the public Wednesday morning.

With stormy weather in the forecast, and other Lewiston events already modified or canceled Saturday, Artpark & Company moved its annual Strawberry Moon Festival into the Mainstage Theater. The pivot was successful: A Native American marketplace smartly lined the walkways, the smoke dance competition was held in front of an enthusiastic (and seated) audience, and the headline artists performed on the theater stage.
