Mount St. Mary's Hospital conducts 'Taking Charge of Your Diabetes' class

As part of its initiative to bring awareness to diabetes, Mount St. Mary's Hospital will host a "Taking Charge of Your Diabetes" class from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 25-27. Diabetes educator Megan Kosmoski, R.N, will conduct the three-day course.

The RFP seeks to identify a qualified private sector partner to continue operation of the Niagara Adventure Theater in the Orin Lehman Visitor Center, as well as to continue the targeted marketing and sale of the Niagara USA Discovery Pass to out-of-market tours and groups.

DiNapoli: Organic farms growing in New York

Sales of organic farm products rose 56 percent statewide from 2008-14 with $164 million in sales that year, as New York ranked third nationwide in the number of certified organic farms, according to a report released by Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli. In 2015, New York's organic sales rose another 35 percent.
