National Grid and AVANGRID companies, New York State Electric and Gas and Rochester Gas & Electric are the first utilities in the country to incorporate fully electric backhoe loaders in their fleets. CASE Construction Equipment built the all-electric backhoe loader after National Grid and AVANGRID requested zero-emission construction equipment to support their efforts to reduce emissions and create more sustainable communities.

Old Fort Niagara will mark Women's History Month with a brand-new program and special access to its sewing studio from 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21, for "Fort Niagara's Women of Distinction." The program will feature four women from the fort's past, each representing different time periods, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds, and wearing period-specific clothing currently being sewn in the fort's sewing studio.

A new AAA survey on automated vehicles reveals only one in 10 drivers (12%) would trust riding in a self-driving car. Even more Americans - 28% - don't know how they feel about the technology, signaling that consumers are stuck in neutral on the road to accepting self-driving cars.
