The Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island received two donations on March 3 at the Grand Island Cultural Center, 2100 Baseline Road. The Service and Mercy Alliance, a mosque located at 1822 Huth Road, presented the Neighbors Foundation with a $1,000 donation, while BelleIsle Entertainment and the Parish Players offered a $500 donation.

Crisis Services announced it has received a $245,000 grant from the Patrick P. Lee Foundation to expand its mobile outreach program. New York State Industries for the Disabled Inc. has presented its member agency, The Arc Erie County New York, with a check in the amount of nearly $20,000, which matches the organization's own investment. The combined $40,000 was used to purchase a new vehicle and equipment, enabling the organization to expand service routes and secure new clients through contracted janitorial services to Erie County Senior Services.
