Niagara County clerks says REAL ID requirements go into effect in less than 9 months

Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski reminded residents the federal REAL ID requirements will go into effect in May 7, 2025, less than nine months away. That means you will need a REAL ID to board any domestic flights, enter a military base and access certain federal facilities.
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center celebrates Mangat's election as ACP Fellow

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center announced its medical director of primary care services, Simmanjeet Mangat, M.B.B.S., M.D., an internist practicing in Niagara Falls, was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP), the society of internists. This distinction recognizes achievements in internal medicine, the specialty of adult medical care.
NFHS to host veterans appreciation event

Empire State Development (ESD) announced the completion of 110 Sweeney Street, a new mixed-use development on the waterfront in the City of North Tonawanda. The project consists of a new, two-story 21,000-square-feet building that includes 15 residential units, two commercials spaces, and a newly opened ground-floor restaurant, District 37 Kitchen and Tap House.

NFPD find woman injured on road

On Aug. 5, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Niagara Falls Police received a call of an injured woman in the roadway at 22nd Street and Niagara Avenue. Responding officers discovered a 50-year-old Niagara Falls woman with life-threatening injuries. It appears she was operating an e-bike when she was struck by a vehicle that left the scene of the crash.
