Their mission: Help clean up litter left behind after "Music Mania Mondays," the Town of Niagara's popular weekly concert series that draws large crowds and lively energy to the park.

Niagara County to hold career fair at Day Road Park

The Niagara County Department of Employment and Training will hold its next career fair on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Day Road Park in Lockport. Director of Employment and Training Don Jablonski said more than 70 companies have signed up to participate. The career fair is open to everyone, and no appointments or preregistration are necessary.

Niagara River Shoreline Trail segment debuts at LaSalle Waterfront Park

The City of Niagara Falls has a new, 1.75-mile path by Buffalo Avenue for walking, biking and jogging. The area begins at LaSalle Waterfront Park. It connects to the Niagara River Shoreline Trail, as the pathway takes users through the LaSalle neighborhood, onto a paved pathway along the LaSalle Expressway, and links with Cayuga Road to the rest of the trail.
Greater Niagara Ballet Company to bring 'Swan Lake' to UB

Niagara County Department of Public Works Commissioner Garret Meal announced the Feigle-Fisk Road Bridge over the Erie Canal in the Town of Pendleton will be closed for repairs beginning Monday, July 28. Signage is already in place to alert motorists. Detour signs will be posted.

Niagara County to host paint collection event Saturday at Starpoint

Niagara County is partnering with the Starpoint Central School District and paint-recycling company GreenSheen to host a paint recycling event this Saturday, July 26, at the Starpoint campus in Pendleton. Niagara County residents and businesses are welcome to bring up to 100 gallons of latex or oil-based paint in its original container to the event for collection at no cost.
