Holistic health and fitness coach Ami Patrick recently opened Embody Health and Wellness Studio on the third floor of the Red Brick Municipal Building, 145 N. Fourth St., Lewiston.
"I am very excited to share that I have opened my own studio," Patrick said, and called it "a goal of mine for years and years."
Patrick is a certified personal trainer, TRX teacher and P90X Live instructor. She said, "The studio is a center of wellness-related activities - fitness classes, personal training sessions, three different kinds of yoga, nutrition workshops and consultations, special events and more. A place for individuals to come and be supported and encouraged in their goals. ... Empowered."
Patrick will hold an open house from noon until 2 p.m. next Saturday, June 25. The event will include free class samples, healthy snacks, recipes, giveaways and prize drawings.
The new Embody Health and Wellness Studio is a co-op of sorts, welcoming in three additional businesses, owned by local women and committed to sharing practices and supporting others in proactive self-care.
"By joining forces with One Yoga, Niagara Power Yoga and Buti Yoga, we are creating a more well-rounded schedule and offerings, further serving the needs of our clientele," Patrick said. "We all share the same vision of empowerment in nutrition, fitness, self-care and lifestyle. It is all about having our attendees leave feeling confident in body and mind."
Class offerings include P90X Live, TRX suspension training, "Summer Strong" outdoor boot camp, power yoga, slow flow yoga and BUTI Yoga. Classes are available during various times throughout the day to accommodate a wide range of schedules, goals and needs. The class schedule will be fluid and change seasonally.
In addition, personal training and nutritional coaching services are available.
