Cardinal O’Hara press release & photo
The bus drivers whose busses transport Cardinal O’Hara High School students to and from school every day received a special thank you from the school when they arrived at O’Hara the afternoon of June 3. Students were waiting for the buses, including the Metro Bus, not for a ride, but to present a thank you gift from the school.
Each gift bag included candy, cookies, a school note pad and pen and a packet of Kleenex. The drivers were surprised and pleased by the gift.
Taking part in the event are, from left, driver Lamont Johnson, Ruby Holt and Zay Starks, both freshmen at O’Hara.
“It was a fun thing to do,” Ruby said. “The drivers were really happy and we had fun doing it.”
