Grand Island Garden Walk set for July 14

Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 14, which is the annual Grand Island Garden Walk!

This event is one of many summer garden walks and tours that has made Western New York a place to be in the summer, and the Grand Island Garden Walk committee is excited to be part of this annual regional tradition.

If you are thinking that you would like to open your gardens this year, we invite you to join this year’s Grand Island Garden Walk to share your gardens with the community. Even if you may have just begun learning and creating your gardens, come join in on the fun! All kinds of gardens, from large to small, shady to sunny, are invited to participate.

The Grand Island Garden Walk is a free event for participating gardens and for the public.

If you are interested in placing your gardens in this year’s walk, applications are being accepted now until June 1. Email inquiries can be sent to [email protected] or you can call Jan at 716-465-7396.

Donations to support the 2024 Grand Island Garden Walk are also gratefully accepted, and the contributions will help make this year’s event a continued annual success. Checks can be made payable to Bridgeview Garden Club and mailed to 3280 Stony Point Road, Grand Island, NY 14072.

The Grand Island Garden Walk committee is very grateful for the generous support of individuals and local businesses and to all the Island residents who open their gardens to the public.

Get ready to explore the Island and its beautiful gardens and natural scenery during the Grand Island Garden Walk from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 14. Information on the walk can be found on the Grand Island Garden Walk Facebook page.

Garden Walk maps will be available on the day of the walk at the Town Commons Gazebo, 2255 Baseline Road.
