Fallsview Casino Press Release

Fallsview Casino Resort is thrilled to welcome music icon Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band – featuring Warren Ham, Edgar Winter, Steve Lukather, Hamish Stuart, Colin Hay and Gregg Bissonette – to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.

“Music icons such as Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band are incredibly special, and to welcome them to the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino will be simply phenomenal for our guests,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing for Niagara Casinos. “As iconic performers with extraordinary music catalogs, this will be a memorable night of music.”

Since beginning his career with The Beatles in the 1960s, Ringo has been one of the world’s brightest musical luminaries. Throughout his career, he has received nine Grammys, has twice been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (first as a Beatle and then as solo artist), and has released 18 solo studio records.

In 1989, Ringo assembled his first All Starr Band. He has found consistent success as a live act with his revolving All Starrs. As part of the 2024 All Starr band, Ringo Starr is joined by:

•Warren Ham – Ham has done it all – from hitting the high notes with Ringo in “With a Little Help From My Friends” to playing the saxophone on Men at Work’s “Who Can it Be Now?” to his time with the band Toto on songs such as “Africa,” “Hold the Line” and “Rosanna.”

•Edgar Winter – Best known for his magnificent 1973 hit single “Frankenstein,” Winter embraced every form of music, starting with jazz and classical, before moving on to blues and eventually what became his own distinct brand of a very progressive rock.

•Steve Lukather – As a member of Toto, with hit singles “Hold the Line,” “I’ll Supply the Love,” “Georgy Porgy” and the incredibly popular “Africa” and “Rosanna,” which have become timeless classics, Lukather set himself apart as a prominent voice in music.

•Hamish Stuart – An original member of the Average White Band, with hit singles “Pick Up the Pieces” and “Cut the Cake,” Stuart has arranged and played on “I’m Every Woman” and “Whatcha Gonna Do For Me” for Chaka Khan and, from 1989-93, recorded five albums with Paul McCartney.

•Colin Hay – As a key member of the band Men at Work, he crafted hit singles such as “Who Can It Be Now?” and “Down Under” to earn international fame for the band.

•Gregg Bissonette – With drumming expertise that is known as legendary, he’s the professional that other professionals go to for advice. Bissonette’s early contributions are with David Lee Roth on multi-Platinum albums “Eat’Em & Smile” and “Skyscraper.”

For all his many creative successes, Ringo always will be first and foremost a musician, and a drummer. Peace and love are his life’s rhythm and melody, and he propels this universal message in everything he does: his evocative artwork, his enthused live performances, his legendary songs – all imbued with the joy, reflection and wisdom of the music icon the world knows and loves simply as Ringo.

Tickets for Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, at https://www.ticketmaster.ca. For more, visit www.fallsviewcasino/OLGStageatFallsviewCasino.
