Screen Actors Guild Awards sets date for 2025

31st Annual SAG Awards will stream live Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025, on Netflix

The SAG Awards announced today that the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will take place Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025. The two-hour ceremony will stream live on Netflix at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT). Key deadlines and dates have also been released for the celebration of excellence in film and television.

Submissions for nomination consideration will open Monday, Aug. 29, and will close Friday, Nov. 1. With the actor’s permission, producers, studios/networks, agents, managers or publicists may submit a performance for consideration in a category of the actor’s choosing. Actors may also submit their own performances. Eligible performances must air or premiere between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2024. All submissions must be submitted online at sagawards.org/submissions.

Nominations for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be announced Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025. Upcoming key deadlines and events leading to the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are: 

  • Monday, Aug. 29: Submissions open at sagawards.org/submissions
  • Friday, Nov. 1: Submissions close at 5 p.m. (PT)
  • Monday, Dec. 16: Nominations voting opens
  • Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025: Nominations voting closes at 5 p.m. (PT)
  • Wednesday, Jan. 8: Nominations announced
  • Wednesday, Jan. 15: Final voting opens
  • Friday, Feb. 21: Final voting closes at noon (PT)
  • Sunday, Feb. 23: 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards live on Netflix
