New rendition features Elevation Worship's Isaiah Templeton

Press Release

Award-winning sibling trio CAIN drops a new version of their stunning ballad "The Commission" leading into Easter weekend. Titled "The Commission (Go Tell The World)," today's release features Elevation Worship's Isaiah Templeton. Listen to the new track here.

Originally appearing on their debut album “Rise Up,” "The Commission" has become one of their top songs, with close to 60 million global streams and going top 5 at radio. When CAIN performed a different rendition of the song at the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards, "We loved it so much that we've been performing it that way ever since," the group said.

While on their headlining tour last fall, "Isaiah visited us during one of the tour stops in Charlotte and hopped on the song with us and the crowd went wild,” CAIN shared. “So, as requested, we're releasing the song featuring Isaiah just in time for Easter!"

Just wrapping the 40-city WinterJam 2024 extravaganza, CAIN will tour the rest of this spring with Chris Tomlin on his “Holy Forever World Tour,” along with various festivals and other special performance stops throughout the summer. Fall will also find them touring with Tomlin, Zach Williams and Crowder, among others.

Every tour stop is guaranteed to bring fun and entertainment as well as ministry, worship, and a chance to encounter the presence of God. To stay up to date on their tour dates and to find out more about CAIN, click here.

More about CAIN

The music of CAIN quickly became a mainstay at radio since their debut single, the RIAA Gold-certified "Rise Up (Lazarus)," was released in early 2020. Raised in Hartselle, Alabama, as pastor's kids and now residing in Nashville, CAIN – Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz and Logan Cain – got their first break opening for Dave Barnes and Andrew Ripp at a show in 2012. Now more than a decade later, they've headlined their own tour, along with sharing the stage with Tomlin, Williams, Casting Crowns, TobyMac, the K-LOVE Christmas Tour, and performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage. The group also hosted the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards. CAIN has also headlined two tours, the "Live And In Color Tour," which sold out 22 markets last spring.

They've hit No. 1 back-to-back at radio with their first two singles, "Rise Up (Lazarus)" and "Yes He Can," both songs from their first full-length album “Rise Up.” Additionally, their viral single, "I'm So Blessed," took over the streaming front, amassing more than 1 million streams weekly in 2023. Because of the song’s social media popularity, more than 200,000 people have created their own videos using the music of "I'm So Blessed," accounting for 300 million additional views on social media, and growing CAIN’s social media reach by 185%. Additionally, their social reach continues to grow every week.

In their career to date, they've won a K-LOVE Fan Award for Top Breakout Single "Rise Up (Lazarus)" and were nominated for an American Music Award (AMA) in 2021. CAIN also received multiple nods for the GMA Dove Awards in 2022 for Best New Artist, Pop/Contemporary Album, Best Recorded Music Packaging for “Rise Up,” and Christmas/Special Event Album for “Wonderful.”

Their latest project, “Jesus Music,” released Oct. 13, 2023, and offers songs including the title track and "Any More." On the heels of the album's release, CAIN debuted their original series "Chasing CAIN" in November exclusively through the TBN app. The limited series shares never-before-seen footage of CAIN, their rise to where they are today, and how they keep faith and family at the forefront of everything they do. Check out the trailer here or visit the TBN app to view the episodes.
