A night of music, unity & support for Kids Escaping Drugs

Press Release

Buffalo Music Vault is proud to announce “Rock4Life,” an exhilarating evening of live music, taking place April 13 at Asbury Hall. This event aims to bring the community together for an unforgettable night while supporting a vital cause: Kids Escaping Drugs.

“Rock4Life” promises to be a celebration of music and unity, featuring electrifying performances by some of Buffalo's most talented musicians. Attendees can expect an eclectic mix of genres, creating an atmosphere that resonates with fans of rock, indie and alternative music.

The event will take place at the iconic Asbury Hall, providing an intimate and vibrant setting for music enthusiasts to come together in support of a worthy cause. As part of Buffalo Music Vault's commitment to making a positive impact in the community, all proceeds from “Rock4Life” will benefit Kids Escaping Drugs, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young individuals overcome addiction and lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

"We are thrilled to present ‘Rock4Life’ and unite the Buffalo community through the power of music," said Bob James, director of Buffalo Music Vault. "Together with our sponsors, especially WGRZ Channel 2, we are not only creating a memorable experience for music lovers, but also making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals through our support for Kids Escaping Drugs."

James also noted that this event is historic as he and some of the 2024 performers helped produce the 1988 telethon music videos that launched Kids Escaping Drugs.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show at 341 Delaware Ave., Buffalo. Music acts include Perilous, The McVans Band, Little Liar, StarJuice, Velvet Bethany, Melissa Sauers, and Alison Pipitone Band (with more to come).

Tickets are $10 and available for purchase at babevillebuffalo.com.

Buffalo Music Vault is the event organizer and part of the IRS recognized nonprofit Power of Song Inc. – recognized by Congress for raising over $250,000 for WNY veterans charities.

Kids Escaping Drugs is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the drug epidemic in Western New York by empowering adolescents and families to live a life free from the disease of addiction through early intervention, resources, education and support.
