'Western New York's Sweetest Kid' photo contest to benefit WNY United

Your kid could win a chance to be on a billboard and win tickets to experience Buffalo sports!

Western New York United Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse is teaming up with Sweet Buffalo for the first ever “Western New York’s Sweetest Kid” photo contest.

A press release stated, “Do you have ‘Western New York’s Sweetest Kid’? Do they go above and beyond to help others or are they just adorably sweet and cute? Well, you can submit their photos for a chance to win some amazing Buffalo sports-themed prizes and see their sweet face on a billboard.”

All proceeds from the contest will benefit WNY United and its mission to prevent substance abuse. The winner of the photo contest will be able experience all of the Buffalo sports teams, including tickets to the Bills, Bisons, Sabres and Bandits games. Plus, one sweet kid could win a feature on a billboard.

One kid with the most votes will receive the ultimate Buffalo sports experience with:

√ Four tickets to the Buffalo Bills game on Dec. 31.

√ Four Buffalo Bandits tickets. 

√ Four Buffalo Sabres tickets, and four access passes to be at the locker room/hallway rope area for the winner and family on March 9. 

√ Four Buffalo Bisons tickets and the ceremonial first pitch at any game in April or May. (Winner’s choice of any game in April or May only.)

One winner will also be featured on a billboard located in Erie County, courtesy of Greyline Outdoor Advertising.

Sweet Buffalo founder Kimberly LaRussa said, “Keeping kids away from drugs and alcohol isn’t the easiest topic to discuss, but it’s an important one, nonetheless. We came up with ‘Western New York’s Sweetest Kid’ photo contest to spread awareness about the good work WNY United is doing to help kids, and to raise crucial funds to support their mission of preventing substance abuse.”
