Brooks & Big Machine Records Team up again, securing No. 1 most added song at country radio

Press Release

Garth Brooks’ brand-new duet with Ronnie Dunn, “Rodeo Man” made its radio world premiere yesterday and became the No. 1 most-added song at country radio. The song is now available exclusively on Amazon Music.

Teaming up with Big Machine Records once again, Brooks’ new single racked up an impressive 69 first-week station playlist adds. The song is included on his 14th studio album, “Time Traveler,” which will be included in a new seven-disc boxed set, “The Limited Series,” which is on sale exclusively at Bass Pro Shops today.

Having worked alongside each other for Brooks’ famous return to the genre in 2007, Brooks and Big Machine Records reuniting for “Rodeo Man” comes as no surprise. The award-winning label was the turbo-charger behind the historic Billboard Hot Country Singles No. 1 debut for “More Than A Memory,” as well as the massive “GRS – Garth Radio Seminar” event and other feats that promoted the titan's successful resurgence.

Big Machine Label Group Chairman Scott Borchetta said, “Working with Garth is always exciting as he’s always thinking big and loves to do things in his own unique way.”

Borchetta continued, “Adding the amazing Ronnie Dunn to the mix makes a great recipe for success.”

"It's buckin' awesome!" Brooks said, "Ronnie Dunn is simply one of the greatest voices in all of country music.”

The single pairs the record-breaking artist’s timeless, honeylike vocals with the iconic vocals of Dunn for a match made in ’90s country heaven. Readymade for a good time, the new single was written by Dunn and Phil O’Donnell and takes listeners on a ride for the day in the life of a “Rodeo Man.”

The single is the first preview of music from his forthcoming “Time Traveler” album, produced by Brooks himself. The 10-track album will be included in “The Limited Series,” which will also include “Man Against Machine,” “Gunslinger,” “Fun” and the three-disc “Triple Live.” The “Limited Series” is now on sale exclusively at Bass Pro Shops. This is the third and final release of “The Limited Series.” The previous two were released in 1998 and 2005.

The album release comes ahead of Brooks’ residency at The Coliseum at Caesars Palace and the opening of his Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk Dive Bar on Broadway in Nashville. To celebrate its grand-opening, Brooks will host a concert on Black Friday (Nov. 24), which will be the first opportunity for fans to get in the bar. The only way into the concert will be to win tickets by listening to “The BIG 615” station on TuneIn.
