Tops cuts ribbon and celebrates $3.7 million renovations on 2 Niagara Falls locations

On Wednesday, Tops Friendly Markets celebrated the grand reopening of two of its Niagara Falls locations. More than $3.7 million in enhancements took place at 7200 Niagara Falls Blvd., and 4235 Military Road – two locations “updated with a new look and a renewed focus on fresh departments over the past four years.”

A press release continued, “These stores will offer new, enhanced services, an expanded assortment of products, and an enlarged fresh perimeter with new updated décor.”

It added, “The stores have been refreshed from top to bottom for a new and contemporary experience. which includes new exterior paint with refreshed awnings; landscaping; energy-efficient equipment and LED lighting both inside and out; solar-powered efficiencies; expanded, state-of-the-art self-checkouts; renovated restrooms; and new interior décor.”

Tops Friendly Markets President Ron Ferri said, “These significant investments will elevate the customer experience and provide expanded access to fresh foods at our local stores. We’re excited to officially reopen these store locations signifying our continued commitment to the community.”

District Manager Jon Douglas added, “At Tops, we constantly evaluate the best ways to serve our local customers and reinvest into our communities. These latest enhancements will help make life a little easier for shoppers by focusing on affordable, easy-to-prepare meal options and a wider selection of products.”
