Dale Campbell and Kathryn Serianni begin decorating for the Lewiston Christmas Walk.

From noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, Sacarissa Bell Rose Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF), will collect items for the needy at the Lewiston Christmas Walk. Members seek new or gently used hats, scarves, gloves, mittens and socks. Cans of soup with pull tops will also gratefully be accepted.

Every donor will receive a "Santa's Magic Dust Christmas" card.

Passersby can bring donations to the Lewiston Opera Hall, 732 Center St., where singer/songwriter Dale Campbell will be entertaining crowds by playing Christmas songs on his red guitar. Campbell is host of LCTV's "Toast & Jam," and WJJL's "Just Me and the Dog."

The Lewiston Odd Fellows are working in conjunction with Theta Rho Girls Club No. 25, an affiliated organization that gives girls ages 8 to 18 the opportunity for leadership and community service.

For more information, contact Nobel Grand Kathryn Serianni, Sacarissa Bell Rose Lodge, at 716-417-7511.
