BOCES to hold open house

The Orleans/Niagara BOCES' Niagara Career and Technical Education Center will hold an open house/information night from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 3181 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn.

Teachers and current students will be on hand to talk about offered programs, including allied health, animation and video production, auto body, automotive technology, building trades, certified personal trainer, computer technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, early childhood education, electricity/electronics, graphic communications, health occupations technician, heavy equipment/diesel/agriculture mechanics, precision machine technology, security and law enforcement, web development and game design, welding and VIP programs in auto service, building and grounds, food service and landscaping and grounds. 

Meanwhile, at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center, the culinary arts students will be offering a pasta dinner to raise money for various charities. The dinner will be held from 4-7 p.m. This dinner costs $6 and will include soup, salad, pasta with meat sauce, dessert and drink. Children under 4 years of age eat for free. Take out is available.
