The man responsible for one of the best-selling live albums of all time is coming to Fallsview Casino for one night only in June.
Peter Frampton remains one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. At 16, Frampton was lead singer and guitarist for British band the Herd. At 18, he co-founded one of the first super groups, seminal rock act Humble Pie. His session work includes collaborations with such legendary artists as George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ringo Starr, John Entwistle and many others. His fifth solo album, the electrifying "Frampton Comes Alive!" celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and remains one of the top-selling live records of all time with estimated sales of over 11 million worldwide. (8:30 p.m. June 16)
As part of Fallsview's lineup of unforgettable nights in June, the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical "Million Dollar Quartet" will thrill audiences over a nine-day run. Featuring a score of rock hits, including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Fever," "That's All Right," "Sixteen Tons," "Great Balls of Fire" and "Walk the Line," Million Dollar Quartet is a smash-hit musical inspired by the famed Dec. 4, 1956, recording session that brought together rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time. (June 21-30, except June 27).
Other June performers include Rick Springfield (June 8-9), Starship featuring Mickey Thomas (June 11) and Gavin DeGraw (June 17-18).
