Make plans for the 12th annual "History Center Night" at Lockport's Shamus Restaurant, from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 30. Enjoy a fine dinner at the Shamus as you help support the History Center and its programs.

For this fundraiser, guests will order their dinner selections from the menu, as usual. The Shamus will then forward a generous contribution from the evening's proceeds to the History Center.

"This annual fundraiser offers diners the chance to support the Niagara History Center while enjoying the Shamus' fine food and atmosphere," says Melissa Dunlap, executive director of the museum, who adds the Shamus has become a Lockport institution. "It's a landmark in our community and a symbol of Lockport's hospitality and revitalization."

Guests are asked to phone in their reservations for the "History Center Night" directly to the Shamus at 716-433-9809. Shamus Restaurant is located at 98 West Ave., Lockport.
