Kathleen Cannon Hourihan and Peter Jacob Ruocco were married Nov. 28 in the Twentieth Century Club of Buffalo where guests gathered for a reception following the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Joanna and Neil Hourihan of Buffalo. The groom's parents are Tammy and Fred Ruocco of Grand Island. The groom's godfather, Peter T. Ruocco of Sausalito, California, a Universal Life Minister, heard the couple's vows.
The bride, a graduate of Nardin Academy, earned bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from the University at Buffalo. She is an associate marketing manager at Rich Products. The groom, a graduate of Canisius High School, earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in business administration from UB. He is a tax manager at Brock, Schechter, & Polakoff, an accounting firm in Buffalo, where he focuses on international tax matters for clients. He is a certified public accountant.
After a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Buffalo.
