The Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission will hold its second annual "Banquet of Praise" fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15. The event will be held at Antonio's Banquet and Conference Center, 7708 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls. The guest emcee will be Neil Boron from WDCX-FM Radio with special musical guests Keri Cardinale and the Redeemed Quartet.

The evening will be an opportunity for the community to praise God for the many blessings in the lives of those who were touched by the ministry of the mission this past year and to celebrate many exciting changes and opportunities. The theme verse for the evening is taken from the Old Testament - Habakkuk 1:5 - "Look at the nations and watch - and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told."

"Certainly, the blessing of the new facility on Portage Road is not something that was expected even a year ago, but God is at work in the City of Niagara Falls," event organizers said.

All are invited to join the banquet to celebrate and support the work of the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission. Tickets are $35 each or a table of 10 for $250. Purchase tickets online at www.niagaramissions.org/banquet or make checks payable to Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission and mail to P.O. Box 2657, Niagara Falls, NY 14302-2657. RSVP by Oct. 9.

The Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission is dedicated to caring for the people of Niagara Falls.

"Whether homeless, poor or addicted, we bring hope to the hopeless through the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ," they said.
