The Western New York Safety Conference, a nonprofit organization that promotes safety in the workplace, is holding its annual conference at the Seneca Niagara Casino Event Center in Niagara Falls today and tomorrow.

There is a new website with more information on the conference, www.wnysc.com. The website features information on keynote speakers, conference officers and directors, sponsors, exhibits and the daily agenda. The website will offer attendees a chance to provide feedback.

"Our goal was to establish a website that highlights the learning opportunities, provided by the conference, to those individuals striving to promote safety in the workplace," WNY Safety Conference President Gerry Bogacz said. "We are not a typical safety conference. We're a WNY based nonprofit organization. Our mission is made possible through a community effort, corporate partners and sponsors creating the necessary resources to meet our objectives of educating in regulations, best practices and innovative techniques."

Guest speakers this year include keynoter Erik Wahl. He is famous for his book, "Unthink," which was on the 2013 New York Times bestseller list. He is known as a motivational graffiti artist and entrepreneur. Wahl will appear today.

Bob Koshinski, host of "All Sports WNY" on WBBZ-TV, will moderate the sports speaker series Thursday morning. Dave Smith, head of the Canisius College Golden Griffin program, kicks off the presentations at 8 a.m., followed by Buffalo Bill radio color analyst Mark Kelso.

For more information, contact Gerry Bogacz at 716-983-7086.
