Empire State Beef Classic at The Fairgrounds

The Erie County Agricultural Society, Crystalyx and Shamel Milling Co. are sponsoring the third annual Empire State Beef Classic April 10-12 in the Agriculture Discovery Center on the Fairgrounds in Hamburg. This show is open to exhibitors of all ages and gives individuals experience prior to showing at their local county and/or state fair.

The show will have a fitting clinic presented by Stock Show U/Sullivans Supply, a junior team fitting competition, junior skill-a-thon competition along with an exhibitor dinner. Following dinner will be showmanship classes that will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The open heifer show followed by the open steer show will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 12. Jake Bloomberg of Stillwater, Oklahoma, will judge.

The early entry deadline is March 20. Late entries will be accepted up until 10 p.m. Saturday, April 11.
