Networking event at iconic Niagara-on-the-Lake destination focused on strengthening binational links

The Shaw Festival was honored to be the meeting place of choice for a Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce-NEXTNiagara-Buffalo Niagara 360 cross-border networking reception this week. Designed to strengthen the network of the next generation of business leaders, the event was attended by key business and civic emerging leaders from the Niagara Region and Western New York. The evening's attendees were also treated to a performance of Phillip Barry's romantic comedy "The Philadelphia Story."

"As a binational arts organization, it was a natural fit for The Shaw to host an event that aims to foster collaborative binational relationships between the next generations of forward-thinking young leaders," said Executive Director Elaine Calder.

The Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with NEXTNiagara, collaborated with the Buffalo-Niagara Partnership and Buffalo-Niagara 360 to bring together emerging leaders to advance the collective binational business community objectives and to better leverage mutual opportunities in the important economic corridor that exists between Southern Ontario and Western New York.
