The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo, presents an evening with Boz Scaggs Monday, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for "The Memphis Tour" are $67, $57, $47 and $37.

Scaggs and his band return to the UBCFA after a well-received performance last year. Scaggs will perform the best-known songs of his career as well as music from his latest album "Memphis."

In addition to his Grammy Award for Best R&B Song, "Lowdown," off 1976's multiplatinum "Silk Degrees," Scaggs has had an unprecedented career full of accolades and honors. He first achieved fame in the 1960s as a guitarist and occasional lead singer in the Steve Miller Band, and continues to work with contemporaries Donald Fagen and Michael McDonald in their project, The Dukes of September.

Tickets are available at the Center for the Arts box office (weekdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.) and tickets.com. To charge tickets, call 1-888-223-6000. For more information, call 716-645-2787 or visit www.ubcfa.org or www.bozscaggs.com.
