At 10:03 p.m. ET Wednesday, Daphne Oz, co-host of ABC's "The Chew," and her husband, John Jovanovic, welcomed the birth of their first child, a daughter, in a local New York City hospital. The baby girl weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces, 20.5 inches long.
"Mom and baby are doing very well. We feel so blessed," John said.
Oz first revealed she was expecting during the season three premiere of "The Chew" on Sept. 10. She is currently on maternity leave and is expected to return to "The Chew" in late April.
Celebrating and exploring life through food, "The Chew" is an innovative daytime series co-hosted by celebrity chefs Mario Batali, Michael Symon and Carla Hall, entertaining expert Clinton Kelly, and health and wellness enthusiast Oz.
