It's a medal-worthy week on the "Late Show with David Letterman" when medal-winning U.S. athletes from the XXII Olympic Winter games in Sochi, Russia, visit the broadcast this week (11:35 p.m.) on the CBS Television Network.

On Tuesday, the "Late Show" welcomes U.S. Olympic gold medalist Sage Kotsenburg. On Feb. 8, Kotsenburg became the first gold medalist of the Olympic Winter Games when he won the top medal in men's slopestyle snowboarding competition, which made its event debut at these Olympic games.

Kaitlyn Farrington, the U.S. women's halfpipe snowboarding gold medalist, celebrates her victory on the broadcast Wednesday. In her Olympic debut, Farrington took home the gold in the halfpipe event Feb. 12, with a dominating score of 91.75.

The U.S. men's ski slopestyle medal trio of Joss Christensen (gold), Gus Kenworthy (silver) and Nick Goepper (bronze) talk about their trifecta when they visit the "Late Show" Thursday, Feb. 20. On Feb. 13, Christensen, Kenworthy and Goepper dominated the medal podium for the U.S. in the event, which made its debut at the Sochi games. Their podium sweep is just the third for the U.S. in Olympic history, joining men's figure skating in 1956 and men's halfpipe snowboarding in 2002.

While this will be Christensen's and Kenworthy's first visit to the "Late Show," this will be Goepper's second visit to the broadcast - he first talked with Letterman Tuesday, Jan. 28, after taking home the gold in men's ski slopestyle at the Winter X Games and prior to traveling to Sochi for the Olympics.

Also visiting the "Late Show" this week are actress Kate Mara and musical guest Cole Swindell (Tuesday); Academy Award-nominated actress Lupita Nyong'o and musical guests Little Dragon (Wednesday); actress Keri Russell and ventriloquist Terry Fator (Thursday); and actress Pauley Perrette, star of the hit CBS drama series "NCIS," which marks its 250th episode March 4; comedian Jeff Caldwell and musical guests Lake Street Dive (Friday).
