The annual Ransomville Lighting of the Wreaths will take place Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, at various locations.
It opens with Family Movie Night, Nov. 30 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at W.H. Stevenson Elementary School. Dec. 1 events include the following: a craft show from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post; and numerous activities at the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co. firehall from 12:30 to 4:45 p.m., including Santa, the Care and Share Food Pantry, a basket raffle, the Hot Country Line Dancers (from 1 to 1:45 p.m.), a magic show (3:15 to 3:45 p.m.) with face painting, Christmas music by the Wilson School Choral Group (4 p.m.). Closing ceremonies including the lighting of the large wreath at 4:30 p.m.
Other Lighting of the Wreaths offerings include carriage rides from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.; children's activities from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Ransomville Library; and showings of brides and babies at the Ransomville Historical Room.
