In 2011-12, Tropp was recalled to the Sabres five times, registering eight points (3/5) and 20 penalty minutes in 34 NHL games.
A native of Grosse Point Woods, Mich., Tropp was selected by the Sabres in the third round (89th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
