Applications now being accepted for Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy

The Niagara County Law Enforcement Academy is now accepting applications for its part-time police academy, which begins Sept. 3 and continues through May 9, 2014.

Completion of a physical fitness test is a mandatory component of the application process. The final physical fitness test for this cohort is scheduled for Aug. 15.

Accepted applicants will attend weekday sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (4-8 p.m.), as well as one weekend class on Saturdays (8 a.m. - 5 p.m.). All sessions take place on the campus of Niagara University.
