The Lewiston Council on the Arts once again presents a summer of free music, with "Blue Mondays," the "Summer of '69" and the Lewiston Jazz Project.
The Lewiston Jazz Project

The Lewiston Jazz Project features the New Upstate Express every week. Directed by Ron Corsaro, the band performs original and classic jazz songs, swing and modern jazz pieces, all accompanied by guest artists. Tune in, turn on and reunite at the region's grooviest summer happening of the year. The "Summer of '69" features some of Lewiston's favorite rock bands from the 1960s, including the Loved Ones, County Orphanage and the Invaders. Grammy winner Gary Baker is coming, too. The 6 p.m. event is free and open to all, and takes place at the Hennepin Park Gazebo (corner of Center and South Fourth streets).
