Buffalo conference offers worship team and industry workshops, networking and concerts

CMS @ The Chapel, part of the Christian Musician Summit series, is taking registrations for its May 3 and 4 event at The Chapel at Crosspoint in Buffalo. The conference, a popular event of workshops and performances, features some of the top musicians in the Christian music industry.

"It is amazing that we are a couple of weeks out from the CMS Buffalo conference," said Bruce Adolph, co-founder of Christian Musician Summit Inc. "Each year there has been a special time; it never fails. The lord gives the training times, the live concerts and the worship such a good vibe there. Let your teams know about it and get registered now!"

In addition to the events scheduled for May 3 and 4, a set of one-day bootcamps for songwriters, guitarists, vocalists, audio techs, drummers and choirs also is scheduled for May 2. CMS @ The Chapel is presented in partnership with Kingdom Bound Ministries.

Scores of world-class musicians will be presenting and performing at CMS @ The Chapel, including Mandisa, Paul Baloche, Ashley Cleveland, Blues Counsel, Dave Cleveland, Newworldson, One Sonic Society, All Sons and Daughters, Meredith Andrews, Al Perkins, Ian Eskelin, Don Poythress, Amanda Noelle and many others.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend all four general sessions, both evening concerts and the "Late Night Groove Lounge" with the Mick Hayes Band. They will also have access to all exhibitors and eight breakout sessions, choosing from more than 100 options in the categories of guitar, bass, drums/percussion, keys, vocals, songwriting, indie artist, audio, video, lighting, technology, worship leadership, and worship bands/teams.

Registration fees are $169 per person or $149 per person for a group rate with five or more. The one-day intensive bootcamps on May 2 require a separate registration.

CMS @ The Chapel also will host nightly concerts, which are open to the public. On Friday, Baloche will perform along with a songwriters round featuring Mandisa, Eskelin and Poythress, Dave Cleveland, Ashley Cleveland, Benji Cowart and Bob Halligan Jr. On Saturday, All Sons and Daughters will open for a concert featuring Newworldson and One Sonic Society.
