Tablescapes fundraiser to benefit Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestraby jmaloni
The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra has announced the return of the tablescapes fundraiser, an innovative showcase of imaginative table settings. Scheduled for 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, at Salvatore's Italian Gardens, 6461 Transit Road at Genesee Street, the event will feature an open bar and sumptuous hors d'oeuvres, as well as a variety of beautifully decorated tables and buffet items to bid on.
Table designs include holiday themes, culinary arts, specific tableware manufacturers, bistro or wine tables, picnic ware, jewelry, clothing and much more. The tables and all featured items will be auctioned to the highest bidders, with all proceeds benefitting the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Tickets are available for $35 per person.
Event sponsors include the Culinary Arts Center at Auburn Watson, Bloom Florist, Buffalo Custom Jewelers, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, Ellicott Small Animal Hospital, Henry's, 800 Maple, The Otesaga Resort of Cooperstown, Salvatore's and Wegmans.
