Come sip the wine (and eat the chowder). The annual Winetique Festival, presented by the Sanborn Business & Professional Association, will be held Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Sanborn Firehall, located at 5811 Buffalo St., Sanborn.
The festival will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with music and food along with Niagara County Wineries selling their wines. There will be a vendor show with a wide range of items for sale, including antiques, new and old jewelry, country crafts, wine accessories and lots more. Live scarecrows will give out candy to the children starting at 11 a.m. A large basket auction will also take place, with the tickets pulled at 4 p.m. Participants need not be present for the drawing. Chicken chowder will be served by the firehall.
Sponsors include the Niagara Falls Bridge Commission, KeyBank, Rhoney Funeral Homes, the Town of Lewiston and the Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce.
