Features wine tasting, live auction and gourmet dinner
The region's finest wines will be showcased at the 12th annual Harvest Festival, "Fire and Ice Gala, a Celebration of Hospice, Friends and Family," presented by the Buffalo Bills. The gala benefit for Hospice Buffalo will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, at the Adam's Mark Hotel in downtown Buffalo.
The festivities begin with an elaborate two-hour wine tasting and silent auction followed by a four-course gourmet dinner with wine accompaniment and dessert station. Immediately following dinner, a one-of-a-kind live auction, live music from Twilight and dancing will begin.
Live auction items include a Saratoga Springs package; a trip to Fairbanks, Alaska; a New York City getaway including two tickets to a live taping of "The Late Show with David Letterman"; private wine lots; and more.
Tickets are $200 each or corporate tables of 10 for $2,800. This year's event also features a grand prize drawing of $10,000.
The winner does not need to be present to win. A limited number of tickets are available for $50 each or three for $125 for the drawing. For raffle, event tickets or for more information, visit www.HospiceBuffalo.com or call 716-686-8090.
