The Lewiston-Porter School District is now accepting applications for children who turn age 4 by Dec. 1 for its universal pre-kindergarten program.

Lew-Port Primary Educational Center Principal Tamara Larson notes universal pre-K is designed to assist young children to readily enter kindergarten.
