The Youngstown Free Library, located in the Youngstown Red Brick School village center, 240 Lockport St., announces the following activities for the month of November.

The Friends of the Youngstown Free Library Book Sale wraps up today, Saturday, Nov. 5. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A bag sale takes place at 1:30 p.m.

The library, which has been offering BTOP Express Free Computer classes during September and October, announces an "Open Access" class will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Library spokesperson Jan Gilgore notes that Open Access refers to an individual's time spent on a computer with a trainer. "Ask a question and get hands-on practice on a computer. Patrons can get help on a wide range of computer topics from transferring digital photos to a flash drive, discussing the pros/cons of Facebook, to better search strategies on the Internet and more," says Gilgore. She invites library patrons to bring their computer questions to BTOP Express trainer Sara Taylor. To register for the class, call 745-3555 or stop in at the library.
