Grand Island Fire Co. Call Summary for Sept. 30, 2011

The following incidents occurred from Sept. 19 to 25, as reported by the Grand Island Fire Co. A total of 24 calls were answered by the department during this period. The GIFC has now responded to 1,119 calls so far this year.

Monday, Sept. 19

•6:13 a.m., Grand Island Boulevard, fire call - cancelled by patrol.

•12:25 p.m., Long Road, fire call - meat on the stove. Avoidable alarm.

•5:07 p.m., Baseline Road, first aid - police emergency standby.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

•12:58 a.m., Ferry Road, first aid - trauma call.

•8:14 a.m., Long Road, first aid - medical call.

•10:44 a.m., Bedell Road, first aid - medical call.

•5:51 p.m., Timberlink Drive, first aid - trauma call.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

•12:17 p.m., Ransom Road, first aid - medical call.

•1:48 p.m., Whitehaven Road, first aid - medical call.

Thursday, Sept. 22

•9:26 a.m., Grand Island Boulevard, officer's call - assist with traffic control.

•9:40 a.m., Beaver Island, first aid - trauma call.

•12:06 p.m., Stony Point Road, first aid - medical call.

•2:51 p.m., Grand Island Boulevard, first aid - trauma call.
